Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account: email address, name (optional), preferred language and password (stored only in hashed form).

Content: the videos you import or the links you provide, their transcripts and the clips produced. These videos may show people or contain their voices.

Billing: plan, payment history and country / postal code (for taxes). Card data is handled directly by Stripe; we only see the brand, last 4 digits and expiry date.

Technical: server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) for security and reliability. We do not use targeted advertising or ad trackers.

2. Why we use it

To provide the service (analyze your videos, produce and store your clips), manage your account and credits, take payments and issue invoices, send you necessary emails (confirmation, sign-in, password, billing), keep the service secure and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your videos to train artificial intelligence models.

3. Who we share it with

Only with the providers needed to run the service, who may only use it to provide that service to us:

• Supabase: accounts and database. • Stripe: payments and taxes. • Resend: sending emails. • Artificial intelligence providers (Anthropic, Google, Groq): transcript analysis, translation and transcription; they do not use this data to train their models. • Our hosting provider: storing and processing videos.

Some of these providers are located outside Quebec and Canada, notably in the United States, so your information may be transferred and stored there, under contractual safeguards.

We may also disclose information when required by law.

4. How long we keep it

Projects and videos: 7, 30, 90 or 180 days depending on your plan, then deleted automatically. Account: as long as it exists; everything is deleted when you close your account. Invoices: as long as tax law requires (usually 6 years).

5. Cookies

We only use necessary cookies: keeping you signed in and remembering your language. Stripe may set security cookies during a payment to prevent fraud.

6. Security

Encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, file access through signed, temporary links, and each account can only see its own projects. If a privacy incident creates a risk of serious harm, we will notify you and the relevant authorities.

7. Your rights

You can access your information, have it corrected, get it in a common format (portability), withdraw consent or have it deleted. Most of this can be done directly in “My account” (edit your profile, delete your account). For anything else, write to us: we reply within 30 days.

You can also file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Europe, your local data protection authority.

8. Children

The service is not intended for people under 16.
